Should ignore verses like these like Christians do?

0

Christians don’t ignore these verses. Those verses are used frequently to teach the value of faith in God. How would you like to walk around a CITY once a day for 6 days and then on the 7th day walk around the CITY 7 times? It takes faith to believe in something that you can’t see but that tells you to do something. The Israelites couldn’t phsyically see God but they knew he was there. Because of that they trusted in Him and did as He commanded. Walking around the city was an act of faith. Because they did it when they had completed it God kept His promise and delivered the people of Jericho into the Israelites hands. Where in the world did you get the idea that Christians ignore these verses? It was an act of faith for the Isrealites to do what God commanded and it was a miracle that God brought the city into their hands.
