Should i wear a mouth guard for my braces while i play soccer and do they make them for braces with elastics?
I can’t tell you whether you need to wear a mouthguard, but you probably should according to so many dentists. A huge percentage of teeth injuries come from sports, and not even contact sports. When you wear a mouthguard for braces, it just has a little bit more protection over the front of your teeth so if you get hit you won’t get your lips cut up more. about the elastics: you take them out to play, usually they will get in the way of your mouthguard. Since you don’t play like, all the time, your couple of hours a week out of elastics woun’t be a problem with your compliance.
