Should i wear a jacket to a standing rock concert?
I went to see a band last November and had the same problem. I guess it depends. It gets really warm in standing gigs, especially if you’re really in the crowd and jumping around and stuff, not just on the sidelines watching. You’ll probably need it before you go in but during the gig you won’t want it on, and you’ll still be warm after wards. It depends, if you’re not that bothered about the cold then don’t take it, you won’t need it inside the venue. If you are really concerned about the cold then just take off your jacket and hold onto it or tie it round your waist or something. This could be a bit annoying, I guess. Alternatively, just wear a light weight jacket and keep it on – it’s not going to be boiling hot, but you’ll want to be warm on the journey, so this could be the best compromise.
