Should I watch School Rumble Subbed or Dubbed?
dont get me wrong i love subbed episodes but i would rather watch it dubbed then subbed for 1 there’s all that reading i would rather watch a anime and not have to read subs on a side note people who say watching it subbed is the true way to watch it they are wrong the way to watch it is raw if that’s the case but in the end subbed or dubbed its your choice everybody has their own preference me i prefer dubbed over subbed
I’ll be the devil’s advocate, here, and suggest that you watch it dubbed. It’s not that it being subbed is bad, and in some cases, I’m sure it’s true that subbed is preferable – but I’ve almost always preferred the dubbed versions. If you watch it subbed, you have to be reading the subtitles, which I think takes away from your ability to concentrate on the actual animation. Also, if I wanted to sit there and read everything they were saying, I’d probably just read the manga instead. Japanese inflections tend to be different than English ones, so it’s easier to understand and get the correct impression if you’re watching the anime in English – at least, that’s how it is for me. If it’s subbed, you hear the emphasized words at different times than you read them because they’re in a different order, and on top of that, you’re not really sure what word is being emphasized. I think it takes away from the emotional aspect of it. Both are fine, but if I were you, I’d go with dubbed.
