Since bleach is such a harsh chemical, it’s best for you hair to recuperate. But that means either conditioning like crazy for a week or two afterward or getting it cut. It really depends on how damaged it is. However it’s not a big deal to go ahead and dye right after bleaching, and that’s how most people do it. Two weeks ago I bleached my almost-black hair to almost platinum (my hair was very damaged afterward) and immediately put dye in. Anymore, most dyes actually leave your hair feeling better than before because they add intensive conditioners to counteract any damage that’s done.
