Should I use Tea Tree Oil or Witch Hazel?

Use the witch hazel. It’s a strong astringent and will remove the oil from those areas. Tea tree oil is just that…an oil. You don’t need more of that. It’s an effective anti-fungal, but shouldn’t be used for acne.

Throughout my teens and even now (I’m 21) I have always used tea tree oil. You get it in a small bottle and use a small drop on your spot, do this day and night on clean, cleansed skin. Use a cleanser such as St Ives ‘Blemish Fighting’ to help combat further outbreaks. Tea Tree oil is antiseptic and antibacterial and dries up the spot quickly and effectively. It is perfectly save to use on skin & works on ridding spots, amounst other things, despite the previous posters comment!
