Should i use ronseal paint & grain on my pine furniture?

As a decorator I have never used Ronseal because they have the reputation of being something you buy in Woolworths. I am trained in special effects also; however I always hand this type of work over to other decorators who had a contract lasting 6 months or more that allowed them to practice. I can tell a mile off the special effects of DIYers or someone who did a part-time special effects course at college. If you must, I would practise on some old wood and see if you are happy with the results.
