I think that there has been some misunderstanding because Alka Seltzer is actually an aspirin and it induces inhibition of prostaglandins. So, protective effect that prostaglandins give to stomach epitel is gone. I would not recommend you to use that medication; Rolaids should be all you need. Do not take any other drug if not necessary.
