Should I use J2ME or the hiptop API?
That depends on your goal. Using the hiptop API will produce applications with a distinct hiptop flavor, but adhering to the J2ME specifications will allow you to more easily make your application available on other platforms. If you’re just starting out (even if you’re already familiar with J2ME), we encourage you check out the hiptop API.
