Should i use a stiffer shaft?
There is nothing worse than having a chronic slice. I think we have all been there at least once. The problem that you are describing however isn’t related to the shaft you use, it is the way you swing the club. Which brings up the million dollar question. How do I fix my swing? Well it’s important to know what causes a slice before trying to fix one. The slice is caused by taking the club away outside of the swing plane (away from you) and to compensate for this a golfer will have a tendency come down inside of the swing plane (closer to you). This causes two things to happen. First, you decrease the hitting area near the ball. Second, you will put side spin on the ball which causes your slice to happen. What I recommend doing is going out and buying a Path Pro swing trainer. It is inexpensive and will help to increase your hitting area among other things. As for your question regarding what flex of shaft to use, that depends on your swing speed. Myself, I use a Nike SQ2 5900 driver w
