Should i trust my ultrasound scan can i ask for another one ?
The tech had probably already determined the sex of the baby and was waiting for you to ask. For a trained tech determining sex isn’t that difficult if the baby is positioned well. If you are really concerned you can ask for another scan, however, insurance probably won’t cover a additional scan without a true medical reason. Best of luck!
You can always request for another scan but the reality is ultrasounds are never 100% accurate when it comes to telling you what the gender is. You can have a million and with different answers and you’ll be even more unsure, or they’re all the same answers and you get the opposite. It’s annoying, but it happens.
