Should I trade away Tim Lincecum for Alex Rodriguez?
Yes, I make that trade all day long. ARod is hitting in a loaded lineup and in spite of what was an off year for him personally he still outproduced the rest of the 3rd basemen last year. Expect a rebound to more typical ARod numbers. Plus the fact he can help you every day as opposed to the pitcher who “might” help you once or twice a week. With Verlander, Wandy & Wainright you are already nice and deep in quality starters and Zambrano came to camp in far better shape than last year and so far it shows in his pitching (I love the hate on this guy….it is obvious nobody pays attention to his numbers year after year….his “other” issues cloud his obvious ability to flat out pitch). This trade favors you in a huge way plus I suspect you could dangle Cuddyer if you need another pitcher down the road.
