Don’t get a tattoo unless you want a tattoo. Instead, look into scar reducing cream, which you can get at places like Sally Beauty Supply. While you’re using that, wear bracelets or something. If the scar is too big to be helped by scar reducing cream, spend the money that you would have put toward a tattoo into laser scar reduction instead. A lot of people with bad scarring, such as burn victims, use this method, and it works really well. If you want the tattoo, get it, but know that you’re still going to see the scar through it. A friend of mine got one to cover a motorcycle scar, and while it isn’t nearly as obvious, it does still show. And keep in mind, scars naturally fade over time.
