Should I take the train or cab from KLIA to Federal KL hotel?
When you come out of immigration at KLIA take the lift down to the KLIA express station (yes, it’s in KLIA itself). Buy a ticket for RM35/person and wait for the train. It’ll take approximately 25 minutes to reach KL Sentral. Now, if you’re in a group of more than 2, I’ll advise you to take the cab instead. It’s more economic and it’ll take about 1 hour to reach KL, might as well ask the driver to drop you off at the hotel. Now, don’t take cabs offered by touts, buy fare coupons. But if you do take the train, once you reach KL Sentral, take a cab to your hotel, now, for the cab here, you’ll need to purchase fare coupons from counters, ask around for the cab coupon centres. It is not advisable to take cabs from touts.
