Great subject, which can lead you into lots of others and give you a good basic understanding of the world we are on as well as the the ones around us. Astronomy gets involved with descriptions, a bit of maths, basic science, history, famous people like Newton, Kepler, and maybe even the Ancient Greeks and other early civilisations like the Babylonians and Phoenicians if some very early astronomy is covered in the course. All sorts of stuff. It gets very interesting and it’s well worth doing. It’s fun, not boring at all.
