Should i take creatine while i am cutting calories and trying to lose weight for the summer?

Why? Using creatine normally adds weight and builds strength, and if you are trying to lose weight for the summer, your only interest regarding strength training is holding on to as much muscle as possible (when you are in a cutting-up cycle, don’t expect to add much if any muscle due to restricted calories and heavier cardio). Very hard, if not impossible, to lean down AND build muscle, so taking creatine during a leaning-down stage seems pointless to me. Wait until you are in a building mass phase again. Then, it ‘might’ make sense (though I personally don’t agree with creatine usage at all).
