Should I subscribe to the National Geographic or New Scientist? Im interested mainly in wildlife conservation?

I can only speak for National Geographic. Overall it’s a fantastic magazine. I learn so much when I read it. Now – while it’s not just focused on wildlife conservation, in my experience, it always has at least on article dealing with conservation or ecosystems. But even articles that don’t deal directly with conservation are worthwhile to read – in my opinion – for someone who is interested in this field. The reason is this. The biggest and really on significant threat to ecosystems and wildlife are people – as I’m sure you know. We can only save wildlife through working with communities of people. The more we understand people and their cultures, the more I believe we’ll be able to convince these people of the need to protect wildlife and wild areas. And in order to understand how to save wildlife – we must understand what people’s needs and wants are. So – I can on recommend National Geographic. That said – I’m sure New Scientist is great. I just love N.G.
