Should I submit additional supporting documentation such as award certificates to Graduate Admissions to enhance my chance of gaining acceptance into the GT-Shanghai program?
For admission into the program, we mainly look at your GRE/TOEFL scores, GPA, recommendation letters and personal statement. Additional supporting documents will be scanned and will become part of your permanent record at Georgia Tech, but they will have little impact on the admission decisions. If you apply to any of the GT-Shanghai fellowship, scholarship, or assistantship opportunities, the supporting documentation especially the award certificates will be seriously considered – you should submit those to the GT-Shanghai Program Coordinator in Shanghai, along with your financial aid application.
