Baytril can be given without food, so yes, continue giving him his antibiotics until the Vet can recheck him. He’s going to feel lousy until the infection comes down, and that’s what the Baytril will help with. I would also recommend that you get some food into him. Mix canned food with water to make it soupy. Warm it for a few seconds in the microwave, and then test the temperature. Syringe the mixture slowly into the side of his mouth, giving him time to swallow it. I would be concerned that the “drunken” swagger is partly due to his leg, and partly due to him being weak and possibly dehydrated. The fluids he got thursday were likely done under the skin (as opposed to IV) and would only have kept him hydrated for a day or so.
