Should I spend £30k on a new Alfa Romeo Spider?
Hi James, I test drove one a little while ago and they are fantastic cars. No question, I would take one over a TT or an S2000 any-day. BUT I just couldn’t take the depreciation hit. My advise is buy one, but let someone else take the big hit. Unless your Company is going to buy it or your going to lease it, wait a couple of months and buy one with a couple of thousand miles on it and save yourself 25% of the new price for what still is essentialy a new car. As for reliability, my 156 Velloce is as reliable as any BMW I`ve owned, and twice as much fun to drive.
