Should I rent a car or stick to the bus to travel Ireland?

What country are you from? Unless you are familiar with driving on the left side of the road or on the right side of the car, I would just get on the bus. Irish roads are narrow and have lots of twists and turns. Also people tend to drive very fast. I feel it would be a bit overwhelming if you weren’t familiar with it. It would probably be safer to use buses, not to mention cheaper. Plus you’ll get to enjoy the scenic view, read, or nap, while on the bus, which you obviously can’t do if you drive. Since you’re going to major cities, (I assume you mean Galway), you should have plenty of options. Also, maybe your friend has a car and can drive you around as well? Enjoy our trip.
