Good that the kidney stones are away – I’ve had one and really didn’t enjoy the experience. Now you need to find out what is going on with your kidney. If you have been signed off by the hospital then you should ask your gp, otherwise ask the doctor at your next clinic visit. Fortunately your body will cope with only one functioning kidney so it isn’t a crisis but you should ask someone in the near future. In the meantime, make sure you keep hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids and following any dietary suggestions which your doctors think might reduce your chances of forming new stone.
