Should I mount a Robertshaw probe horizontal or vertical?
This depends on the application. For continuous level or point level with differential measurement, the probe must be mounted vertical. For point level only (no differential), the probe can be mounted horizontal or vertical. If the probe is mounted vertical in these cases, set point adjustment will not be possible when used in a conductive process (it will be tip sensitive).
