Should i make my three year old son change his own pullup?

He is almost fully potty trained expect #2. But he will pee in his pullup sometimes at home because he is too lazy to go to the bathroom. He can fully dress himself and put his own pullup on himself. But when he does go in his pullup he acts like he can’t even pull his pants down.
