Should i leave my 22 mo. old home for a week with family,will he understand?
Hi, I hope nobody made you feel like a bad person for this question because I read some of the answers and it sounded like they were trying to. I am a single mom and I joined the army to be able to take care of my babies. Well in doing so I had to leave my babies for a year. They are three and two now. Yes your baby will be fine. Just talk to him or her way in advance and keep talking to them until you leave even if you think they don’t understand. It helps them. One person did have a good point though try staying with your family for a couple of days also. When you do go I’m gonna guess your going for a vacation. Even though you are on vacation call him once in the morning and once at night and talk to him on the phone so he knows your still care and it will make you feel better too. Don’t talk to him to much more then that or he will get bores with the phone and you might get your feelings hurt unintentionally. My babies talk to me every day they are not mad and they are in good hand
