Should i Learn to read Hiragana (Japanese writing) before learning Japanese verbally?
I would learn to read all of the Japanese writing characters first, because it might make it a little easier to learn the grammar, but also because it’s not that hard to do so I think you should just go ahead and get it down. Most people I know could pick it up in a week or too, but keep rewriting them over and over.
