Should i join the raf or the royal navy?

You need to go to a forces careers office. You can go to both the RAF and Navy offices, often co located. They will give you a series of tests to see what jobs/trades are open to you based on your educational qualifications and/or ability. You need to look at engineering trades or technician trades to give you the best opportunities when leaving the forces. Beware the careers office offering you a job that you dont really want but promising that you can change when you are in this is not a simple process and is not always possible, once in you are normally stuck where you are. Even if you have to wait for a place to become vacant in your chosen trade, WAIT, do not take something you do not want, careers offices have quotas to fill according to vacancies and they dont always have your best interest at the forefront. The forces are a good life but not for everyone, be careful you are almost certainly going to find yourself in Afghanistan whether you join the Navy or RAF. Best of luck.
