If you installed Windows 95B on your ChemBook 9780, follow these instructions for updating the TI Cardbus patch. This patch should fix certain lock-up problems in Windows 95B/C and Internet Explorer 4.0. Note: This patch only applies to Windows 95 OSR 2.x. If you have Windows 98 or Windows NT, you should NOT install this patch. • Contact CHEM USA Technical Support for the download password. • Download the patch Here. The file name is 978ti95.exe. • Extract the file by executing the file. • You will see three files extracted, including cbss.vxd, pccard.vxd, pcmcia.inf. • Copy cbss.vxd and pccard.vxd to C:\windows\system. • Copy pcmcia.inf to C:\windows\inf. • Reboot the system.
