Should I install Kepler with R or without R?

0

R —a language and environment for statistical computing—is required for some Kepler functionality. For Mac and PC users, we recommend that you download and install the Kepler/R version. The Kepler Linux installer does not include R. Because R is required for some common Kepler functionality, we recommend that Linux users download and install R from http://www.r-project.org. If R is installed with Kepler, it should not interfere with a previously installed version of R except when one launches R from the command line (by entering ‘R’). The version of R included with the Kepler installer is 2.6.2. If you prefer to use a previously installed version, please see the User Manual for information about how to configure your system manually.
