Should I go Hospital – 2nd degree burn to the hand?
The thing that concerns me is that you state this morning you aren’t having any pain. Most burns will cause some pain even after the burning sensation has stopped because of damage to the tissues. The only burns that don’t cause pain are third degree because all the tissue is damaged. Second degree this is not so. Movement should cause discomfort if not outright pain. Keeping it covered isn’t a bad idea since you don’t want to accidentally open the blister. I would still get it looked at just because you state the lack of pain. That just doesn’t sound right.
