Should i give fod to a homeless person?
Be safe about dealing with strangers. No matter if they are homeless or not. If you want to give food to a homeless person, then it’s best to ASK they if they are in need of a meal. I often see people at the local Taco Bell who I can tell are truely hungry & I ask them if they’d like a burrito or something…my treat! I won’t give money because I have been homeless & I have seen & lived with having to pinch pennies in order to feed yourself or keep the money for bus fare. Some feed their addictions, so when I can see that they are hungry, then I will buy them what they order, or have them stand outside (many don’t want to leave their carts & bags unattended) & as soon as my order is bagged, I hand the bag directly to them, straight from the counter. This way, they feel good about getting what they want & I feel good about giving it. In your case, if you have no prior experience working with or dealing with the homeless, it would be better & safer if you did it this way OR worked throug
