Depending upon the size, age, sex, and activity level of your dog, it will eat between 5 and 10 pounds of high quality kibble a week. This would generally be between 4 and 10 cups of kibble divided into two feedings a day. High quality kibble costs between $25 and $30 for a 40 pound bag. Most breeders and veterinarians do not recommend adding supplements to high quality dog food.
