I used to be a PC owner, and never understood why anyone would like Mac more… I’ve had my MacBook for about a year and a half and I am a full blown mac lover now. Being that you use it for web and music, mac would prob be best for you, just because it doesn’t really get any viruses. Every computer I have ever had got so many viruses, even with protection. Mac book, not so! If you have the money, i would go for the MacBook PRO though.. Or wait until the new Mac Book comes out, (they are making one with the aluminum casing instead of plastic).
