Should I get a Macbook Air?

Do you really need a new computer? Baring in mind the Mac Book Air has no optical drive, it will be a problem especially if you buy a new digital item of some sort and you need to install the CD in order for it to connect to the computer. Also you wouldn’t be able to watch DVDs which is a problem if you like DVDs on the move. Do you like playing games? A problem if there’s no optical drive, and who doesn’t like a good old $10 computer game? Besides, for the price of a Mac Book Air, you can get a lot more for your money on a desktop. Or if you want a laptop and desktop, get a basic computer (which nowadays has good specs for being ‘basic’) and a laptop. The main downside for me is the optical drive. Think about it very carefully. Are you buying the Mac Book Air for the looks, or for what you actually get in terms of price. Do you need one?
