Should i get a gerbil or hamster?
Those who said Hamster, are completely STUPID! In no crazy universe EVER, would a hamster be a better pet than a gerbil. Gerbils, they would fit in way better in with your schedule than any hamster ever would. I have gerbils. I noticed, they sleep for a few hours, sometimes just 1 hour. Than they get up, play, eat, drink and chew on stuff. They stay up for, I don’t know, half an hour to one hour and a half. Then, they go back to their peaceful sleep. I have two friends, they both had hamsters. They both got bitten. They said it hurt real bad. One of my friends, her hamster bite drew blood! My other friend, she lost her hamster under the couch. It took her a real long time to find him again. My gerbils, they only bit me once. It didn’t really hurt, and it actually kinda tickled. Sometimes, gerbils WILL nibble, but that’s only to check if your food. That most likely will only happen the first few times you approach them.
