Should i get a dwarf hamster or a Syrian hamster?
I would get a syrian hamster as they are very nice and cuddly. When tamed properly they can make fantastic pets and can live for around 3 years. They are quite low maintenance and live for around 2-3 years. They must be kept alone as they will fight with each other. They require quite a large hamster cage with bars small enough apart that they can’t escape. A dwarf hamster must be kept in pairs as they will become lonely when alone. They can also be tamed and will become a lovely pet but they can be a bit more nippy than syrian hamsters and they may fight with eachother if they don’t get on.
