Should I fill in San Joaquin / Sacramento EC using the VPlotter scripts?

No. A specialized script called ECData.sty is used to fill in Martinez EC. This script uses a modified G-Model and estimate of the Net Delta Outflow Index to predict Martinez EC. Currently this technique can not be applied to the other DSM2 salinity boundary conditions. When you look at San Joaquin and Sacramento EC you may notice that frequently the EC at both of these boundaries does not vary much day to day. Often real-time runs just approximate forecast EC by “flat-lining” the EC at these two boundary conditions.
