Hi Pale Rider, No need to fertilize. Fescue is a cold-weather grass and should be doing great this time of year. If there are bare spots, though, it’s fine to overseed right now. I’d wait till spring and apply some fertilizer at the same time you put out your pre-emergent weedkiller. Happy Lawn to You!
