Should I expect blatant racism in Belgium?

0

Belgians are NEVER blatant about anything. Other than showing off their wealth. And although there is racism in Belgium Belgians are more xenophobic than anything else. Gent is pretty, there is a moated castle in the town centre. Bruges is a living museum but pretty enough. Dinant has a wicked Citadel, lots of steps, been years since i’ve been so they might have a lift now. If you have the time stay a week in the Ardennes, caves of Han are worth a visit. There’s an open-air museum in Bokrijk which gives you an authentic feel. And for the seaside experience try Knokke or Blankenberge.
