Should I do A-Level Maths or Business Studies?
I studied both at A Level. I went on to do Maths at degree so obviously that one was a better choice. Maths is more credible if you wish to study a purer (rather than applied) subject at university. Business Studies did give me a far better understanding of how business and economics (to a lesser extent) works but I left feeling that I could have taught myself half the content. Really depends on what you think you want to go on to do and the balance of your subjects.
Maths is more appreciated by Universities than Business Studies, however it is hard. There is a huuuge leap from GCSE maths to A Level, which is why a lot of people struggle and dont achieve their desired grade. Saying that, if you feel confident enough then you should go for it, because as i said earlier, its a solid academic subject and therefore appreciated a lot more by Unis.
