Should I do a degree in English or Political Science?
Jennifer, Life is a scary but exciting adventure, isn’t it? I, too often have the problem of being torn, and even to the point of being afraid to make a decision that will affect my life in a big way. I’d like to suggest that you take some time to decide not what you want to study, but where you want your life to go, and what kind of person you want to be. You want to go to law school, but what do you want to do with that education? I’m not an expert in that area, but it would seem if you want to study constitutional law, for example, then poli sci would be quite important. If on the other hand your law interests are in say, commercial or criminal law, pre law might be something that you might opt for. If, more than law, you are looking for justice, and you have an idealistic bent, where your goal is to connect up with others who are in trouble unjustly and deliver them, for example, then the insight you get into humanity and life from literature might be more help.
