Should I contact the MoD from overseas and schedule an appointment?
Contact the MoD from overseas to reconfirm/check for changes and schedule your first appointment; this is not strictly necessary, but it helps particularly if your schedule is tight. However, you can schedule your appointment also after arriving in Israel and even visit the MoD office without any appointment; in the last case be prepared for a longer than usual waiting time or for having to return on another day.
