That’s a hard question. VBS1 is an expensive product especially if you buy a lot of addons. A lot of screenshots of Armed Assault contain units which are very similar to VBS1. If you like to have a serious simulation and some money VBS1 is the best choice. If you are short on money wait for Armed Assault. Concerning VBS2, in my humble opinion wait for VBS2 is no option, because it is unclear when VBS2 is released. T.
