I think the classic controllers are wired like the gamecube one. If you want something a bit more comfortable and less bulky and odd shaped, you should go for the classic controllers. If you prefer to go cheap and are used to the GC controllers, get those then, but Smash Bros. will be the only wii game so far that can be played with them.. If money isn’t a problem, get the wii motes so you can use them for other multiplayer games other than SSBB.
