Should i buy an extended warranty for a 2004 ford explorer?
Your Explorer is generally a reliabile vehicle. Warranty companies are in business to make money, just like whoever you work for, and the Ford dealers too. We all need to pay the mortgage. That said, a warranty is worth as much as the *coverage* and the *price* combination. Unfortunately for Fords, there’s about 100 different underwriters for the warranties, and 100000 brokers for them. Do a Google search for Ford Warranty and you’ll see what I mean. I find it wise, personally, to never use an “agent” of an underwriter, as you’ll pay higher prices. Always go direct. And beware, companies like Warranty Direct are still agents. 🙂 Still confused?
