Should I buy aion or guild wars 2?
I’d recommend Guild Wars. Go ahead and buy the current game. You won’t be disappointed. I haven’t played Aion so I can’t really say much either good or bad about it, but it does have a monthly fee and that’s one of the factors that makes these games so addicting. You’re paying a monthly fee to play so you feel like you’re wasting your money when you aren’t playing it. Guild Wars was designed to appeal to a casual gamer. You don’t have to spend months grinding your charcters up to acceptable levels. The level cap in GW is 20 and experienced players can have a Level 20 character in a few hours in some of the campaigns. A newer player will take a few weeks of steady play to hit level 20 if you start in Prophecies. Also if you buy GW, you’ll be ready when GW2 is released next year and you’ll already be familiar with the storyline and world. Arenanet has already promised that GW2 won’t have a monthly fee either.
