You have to buy what you find best for you,budget wise and playability wise.There are some very nice Yamahas at the top end of their range.On the other hand there are some very nice guitars made by Fender though the Fender logo does not appear on the headstock ie the now Chinese made Guilds.( Excellent quality) of course you can buy a US made Guild still essentially a Fender at 3 times the price of the Chinese version Tacoma another brand taken over by Fender. Tacoma’s nice guitars again Fender made. You pays your money and you takes your choice, that’s about it. My choice over the 2 brand names, Yamaha has just the edge for me.
