Should i become a cosmotoglogist or an esthetician?

Either one is an excellent career path, my friend. They’re both very rewarding and lucrative if you are passionate about the beauty industry and making people beautiful. Both can be very profitable careers, though the average esthetician tends to make more than the average cosmetologist – largely due to the fact that esthetics is a more technical or medical field at times. A cosmetologist will learn in cosmetology school how to work with hair, nails, skin care and makeup. The primary focus is definitely on hair, though. Most cosmetology students choose an area in which to specialize once they begin getting their beauty education. An esthetician will work entirely with skin care. The school program is a little shorter since it is much more specific. They will likely do facials, microdermabrasions, recommend skin regimens, and perform other skin/beauty treatments. Both careers are truly fantastic to pursue, it’s simply a matter of what excites you most. What are you most passionate about
