Should I be worried about my arowanas lack of appetite?

It’s too early to be worried about him just yet. Young aros can be particular about their food, plus yours is stressed from being moved. I would suggest you find a different food for him besides feeder goldfish. Not only are they a poor food from a nutritional standpoint (high fat content), they’ll dive to the bottom of the tank and it’s the nature of your aro to look up for hs food (note the position of his eyes and mouth). Live insects, like crickets, will probably get him eating sooner. Once you have him eating, you can also give him frozen shrimp, krill, live earthworms (dangle them so he notices them) and mealworms. Also, consider the conditions in which feeder fish are kept – they are often not in good health themselves, and you don’t want to pass anything (diseases, parasites) from them to your aro.
