The US military does use lots of foreign language specialists, but the military recruiters aren’t always the best source of information. Officer recruiters are few and far between compared to enlisted recruiters, but only officer recruiters are familiar with officer programs. Naval intelligence officers are often also assigned foreign language proficiency training as part of their career path. Marine intelligence officers have a very similar career path as well. Being born in a foreign country may be something of a complication for you to get a Top Secret security clearance, which every intelligence officer in any of the services is required to get. But the officer recruiters would be a more reliable source of info regarding this. But I don’t think you should join any of the services as an enlisted person.
